It is our sincere desire to provide the highest quality plugin we can develop and couple it with the most personalized and attentive customer service we can muster. We make every effort to deliver value to every WooCredits customer and hope the plugin becomes a powerful addition to your WooCommerce driven business. With that said, we understand that it is impossible to “please all of the people all of the time”, and given the unique nature of virtual, downloadable software products, we have written the following to outline what you can expect as a WooCredits customer.
You are purchasing a 1-year, pre-paid, non-transferable, non-refundable (for exceptions see below) subscription which grants you access to download the WooCredits plugin, as well as a license to use the WooCredits plugin on the corresponding number of domains your license is approved for. By default, the subscription is set to auto-renew exactly 1 year from your original purchase date. If you do not wish to have the license auto-renew, you must login to the My Account section of our website and do 2 things: 1) you must cancel the subscription 2) you must delete your payment method. The billing system will send you a renewal reminder 2 weeks prior to the auto-renewal date. Failure to cancel your subscription and delete your payment method prior to the renewal date denotes your authorization to willingly enter into another 1-year, pre-paid, non-transferable, non-refundable (for exceptions see below) subscription.
We guarantee the WooCredits plugin will work as advertised with a fresh installation of the latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce. Given the hundreds of thousands (if not, millions) of plugins and themes and corresponding versions available in the global WordPress marketplace, it is impossible for us to guarantee that our plugin will work in conjunction with anything beyond the most recent versions of WordPress and WooCommerce. We do our best to make WooCredits backwards compatible with older versions of WordPress and WooCommerce, but it is impossible that backwards compatibility will be constant. Your failure to properly maintain and update your WordPress and WooCommerce versions will under no circumstances render an issue “demonstrable and unresolvable”.
We work very hard to ensure that our plugin integrates nicely with the third-party plugins listed in our advertised integrations list. However, given our lack of control over these third-party plugins, we cannot guarantee that WooCredits will work nicely at all times with these third-party plugins. In the event a conflict arises with one of the advertised, third-party integrations, we will make our best effort to verify the conflict and resolve the issue, as it relates to a fresh installation of WordPress, WooCommerce and whatever the advertised third-party plugin is. However, as stated above, the sheer number of themes and plugins available in the global WordPress marketplace, makes accounting for the billions of potential combinations impossible to manage. If you are running a WordPress site that has more than just WooCommerce, WooCredits and the Advertised Third-Party Integrations, and need help ironing out issues, we offer Premium Monthly Support packages starting at $39/month.
We will only consider and grant a refund when one of the following conditions has been met:
1) There is a demonstrable and unresolvable issue with WooCredits working with a fresh installation of the latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce. For an issue to be deemed “demonstrable and unresolvable” you must:
a) notify us of issue within 15 days of purchase;
b) make every reasonable attempt to demonstrate the unresolvable issue to us. In most cases, this includes granting us access to your site via providing both FTP and WP Admin credentials. In cases where our customers are protecting national security, or, for other reasons are especially paranoid, we may consider video screencasts that demonstrate the problem while also showing that only the latest versions of WooCommerce and WordPress are installed.
2) The plugin has not been downloaded. Downloading the plugin constitutes “breaking the seal” that is common with in-store, pre-packaged retail software purchases. We track and log all downloads of our plugin as well as domain activations and will rely on these records to determine your interaction with the plugin.
It shouldn’t be. It is standard practice across the software industry to not accept returns or exchanges for software products. Apple, Microsoft and thousands of others explicitly state that they do not accept returns or grant refunds for software products that have been opened, and to reiterate the point above, downloading the plugin constitutes “opening” or “breaking the seal”. For you to act surprised, shocked or offended at this industry standard practice, is naive at best and dishonest at worst. We assume our customers are reasonable adults, with functioning brains, who are able to understand what they are purchasing and why, and, who are free, and in no way coerced, to purchase, within the constraints of applicable law, whatever they want, whenever they please.
We make no claims to any gains you have during or after your use of WooCredits, nor do we assume any responsibility for any losses (data, monetary or otherwise) you incur during or after your use of WooCredits. We highly recommend you maintain consistent backups of your WordPress installation, especially taking full backups of all WordPress assets (databases, plugins, themes, uploads, etc) prior to making any updates to WordPress core, themes or plugins (WooCredits or otherwise). We assume no responsibility for your site maintenance and backup practices and will not be liable for any data losses or site malfunctions you may incur as a result of your failure to appropriately backup all facets of your WordPress site before, during or after your use of WooCredits.
Premium Support Packages are pre-paid and billed on a month-to-month basis. You can cancel them at anytime, but will not be refunded for previous months that have already been paid. In order for us to provide Premium Support Packages, you will need to provide WooCredits support team with FTP and WP Admin access to your WordPress website (or development site that mirrors the live site). If you are unable to provide both FTP and WP Admin to either a live or development site, please DO NOT sign up for the Premium Support Packages, as they will be of no use to you.
